Welcome to Adams Wrestling

This is the spot to come to keep up-to-date with Adams Highlander Style wrestling including up-coming matches, tournaments, results, rankings, photos and more.

With a new season getting under way, Highlander Style has a strong foundation and is looking forward to a great season of wrestling. We have good wrestlers that are getting better and great wrestlers that continually amaze us. Whether you're just starting out or an experienced wrestler, together with your experienced coaching staff, Adams Highlander Style makes a powerful team.Wrestler's endurance, tenacity, fitness, dedication to practice, technique and strength are the tools you use to make yourselves great.

But our wrestlers also need backup. Parent volunteers are essential in keeping the season running smoothly. Please consider becoming a volunteer for your team. There will be lots to do, from feeding hungry wrestlers at tournaments to collecting and sorting fund-raising items or running a committee. Keep coming back to adamswrestling.com for more information .

Thanks in advance for everyone's help during wrestling season!

OFF THE MAT
Chris Lillie - Capt.

Senior Chris Lillie is looking forward to his final year on the Adams Wrestling team.  Although he has set individual goals for himself this year, he also hopes that he can help this young team as a captain and a wrestler.  As a sophomore, Chris was a regional qualifier at 103 and hopes to return to regionals and reach states as a 135 pounder.  Additionally, Chris hopes to reach his goal of 100 career wins.

Off the mat, Chris has tried to give back to the community.  In the last four years, Chris has volunteered as a  tutor, worked  on Kaboom playground builds, and helped  with Special Olympics.  In the classroom, Chris has shown what it means to be a scholar athlete. He is currently first in his graduating class and hoping to finish his senior year as valedictorian.  He was recognized as a National Merit Commended Student and as a top Michigan Math Student.

He will be attending the University of Notre Dame in the fall where he plans to study mathematics and engineering.
